Equal Opportunity Cell

The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) addresses issues relating to marginalization and exclusion of minority groups, including those based on caste, religion, ethnicity, sexuality and gender. The Cell also proactively works on discrimination policies, grievance redressal procedures, and sensitization programmes.

Constitution of the Cell 

The Cell has been constituted to look into discriminatory complaints of marginalisation and exclusion received by students, teaching, and non-teaching staff. To report grievances, please write to eoc@klyuniv.ac.in

The Equal Opportunity Cell shall implement the provision of UGC (Promotion of Equity in Higher Education Institute) Regulation, 2012 and further amendment from time to time and follow the procedure as mentioned therein. The object of  Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) are to safeguard the interest of all the students without any prejudice of their caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity gender and disability so that the equality is promoted among all the sections of students without prejudice to their belonging to any social group.

The Equal Opportunity Cell will oversee the effective implementation of polices and programmes for disadvantage groups, provided guidance and counselling with respect to academic, financial, social and other matter and enhance the EQALITY in diversity within the University.

The EOC shall function with regard to the directive contained in UGC (Promotion of Equity in Higher Education Institute) Regulation, 2012, published in Gazette of India on 17th Day of December, 2012
